History

semsmall2
The National Lutheran Alliance was formed in 2007 with the active involvement of several LCMS related entities. These entities were already involved in Washington, DC related activities. They were convinced that, by joining together, they would be able to increase visibility, and accomplish more. They could engage in new, more effective, and more efficient public relations and educational activities that would benefit many.
The Alliance is still in its formative stages – developing strategies and formulating plans that will expand activity and benefits in the years to come. The Clara and Spencer Werner Foundation provided major support for the establishment of the Alliance.
