Alliance Expands work in Nation’s Capitol

The National Lutheran Alliance is an effort to strengthen the presence of Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod (LCMS) related entities in Washington, DC.  The Alliance is:

• Bringing the expertise and experience of Lutheran entities to the branches and agencies of government;
• Giving expression to the values and theological positions of LCMS related entities;
• Providing educational opportunities for a variety of individuals and groups, including internships, workshops, conferences and other events;
• Serving as a Washington, DC resource to LCMS related entities;
• Building relationships with government leaders and agencies, and with a variety of networks;
• Encouraging good citizenship and greater involvement in the affairs of government;
• Researching opportunities for increased Lutheran participation in government related activities;
• Furthering the existing efforts of the founding partners of the Alliance.
